Organize Your
Legacy
At Kin Advocates our mission is to provide support for individuals and families, as well as those who are widowed, by organizing aspects of life that are not typically covered by legal and professional services.
Who We Are
Candace Williams and Shelby Morrison founded Kin Advocates LLC in 2024 with a mission to help families organize their affairs as part of their legacy planning efforts. As Registered Nurses, Candace and Shelby saw a problem that estate planning and funeral services were not addressing: clear document organization for an individual’s many assets and end-of-life wishes, as well as assisting widows and family members after a loved one has passed (a service called WidowCare).
When Candace’s father, Robin, was nearing the end of his battle with cancer, he and Candace crafted a detailed portfolio of his affairs and assets. After his death, when Robin’s widow Sandra was grieving, Candace walked her mother through the portfolio they had created. And Kin Advocates LLC was born.
Nearly 80% of families do not discuss their end-of-life wishes, and even more fail to organize their affairs beyond drafting a Last Will and Testament. Kin Advocates LLC is filling this gap with legacy organization and WidowCare services. Reach out to us today for a free consultation on how we can help you honor life by organizing the legacy.
